How Our Tools Work

Every financial calculator on fin.adecoder.com runs entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you enter numbers into our EMI calculator, SIP calculator, income tax calculator, or any other tool, those numbers are processed locally on your device. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party service.

Local Storage

Some tools (such as the Expense Tracker and Portfolio Tracker) use your browser's localStorage to save data between sessions. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear this data at any time by:

  • Clearing your browser's site data for fin.adecoder.com
  • Using your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature
  • Using the "Clear" button within each tool

Contact Form

If you use our contact form, the information you provide (name, email, message) is sent via your email client using a mailto: link. We do not store this data on any server. Your email is processed by your own email provider.

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracking scripts of any kind). We do not display advertisements. We do not use any CDN that tracks users. All assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are served from our own domain.

Security

We implement the following security measures:

  • Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to prevent XSS attacks
  • All user input is sanitized using secure DOM methods
  • No use of innerHTML with user-provided data
  • HTTPS encryption for all pages
  • No external scripts or resources that could be compromised

Children's Privacy

Our financial tools are general-purpose calculators that do not collect any personal information. They can be safely used by individuals of any age.

Your Rights
